Spread the link love! Here are links to some awesome travel blogs that you should probs add to your regular reading.
These are some of my favorite travel blogs. They’re all written by friends, or people that I pretend are my friends.
Adventurous Kate – The queen of solo female travel, Kate’s always got a new adventure up her sleeve.
Alex in Wanderland – Also hailing from CNY, I always enjoy Alex’s beautiful photos and fun stories.
Alexis Grant – Though not specifically about travel, Alexis’ site is chock full of helpful posts about creating a career and life you love. She also has backpacked solo through Africa and is a total bad-ass.
Around the World in 80 Jobs – I think the title says it all. Turner’s blog is great for seasonal work inspiration.
A Little Adrift – I absolutely love Shannon’s perspectives on travels and volunteering. Def a kindred spirit.
Ashley Abroad – Ashley and I met up in Ann Arbor last year. She’s a great writer, and her posts about au-pairing are really interesting for seasonal workers.
Bacon Is Magic – Always refreshingly honest, I love following along on Ayngelina’s adventures.
Beers & Beans – When I grow up, I want to take photos like Bethany.
Candice Does The World – The funniest Canadian I (don’t) know.
Further Bound – Though Hannah is a graphic designer, she also has an incredible way with words. Her blog is travel poetry.
Life After College & Jenny Blake – Both of Jenny’s websites offer solid and shimmery advice that always resonates with me.
Monk Bought Lunch – I had a great time traveling with Stephen in Mongolia. He is THE guy to ask about travel in Central Asia.
Penelope Trunk – Not travel-related, like at all. But I find all of Penelope’s writing smart and honest — I especially appreciate her stuff on women and work.
The Art of Non-Conformity – I’m a super-fan of Chris Guillebeau. He’s been to every country in the world — how could you not be?!
The Everywhereist – One of the funniest bloggers out there, Geraldine will delight you with her tales of cupcakes and travel.
The Professional Hobo – Nora will teach you how to travel full-time in a financially sustainable way.
Twenty-Something Travel – Stephanie’s got a solid blog with a perfect tagline: “Why wait to see the world?”
Zen Habits – This blog is a never ending fount of wisdom and inspiration.
