Student in Granada, Nicaragua

This is one of my favorite little 1st graders in Nicaragua. See other photos of ridiculously adorable children in my recent feature on Beers & Beans: Children Around the World – A Photo Essay. (This was my dad’s favorite picture from the collection — the boy “with the smile the size of a small house.”)

I was super honored to be featured, since I’m a big fan of Beers & Beans. Bethany is an AMAZING photographer, and I could spend hours on her and Randy’s site. She also wrote an awesome eguide to using a DSLR camera called Getting Out of Auto (affiliate link). It’s the best (and simplest) photography manual I’ve ever read. Be sure to check out their site if you haven’t; it is travel photography at its finest!

This photo is part of my Meatless Monday series, in which I feature a new photo each week. Because who likes to read on Mondays? If you want your Mondays to always be meatless, like me on Facebook
