I’m in Dublin, Ireland for the first time — and LOVING it. I’m here to attend TBEX, a travel blogging conference at which I’ve already learned a ton and met a bunch of great people.
I’ve seen the wonderful dance performance Heartbeat of Home, gone on a historical walking tour, taken a tour of The Little Museum of Dublin, and enjoyed a fabulous party at the Guinness Storehouse.
Yesterday, I stopped by a lovely cafe called Dublin City Food. I was there to work on my freelance stuff, and when I finished, I started rushing to write a blog post.
But, I didn’t want to write one. I have a pretty nasty cold, and I wanted to go home and take a nap. And then when I felt rested, I wanted to explore Dublin.
I can’t take a break from my editing and social media work, but I can take a break from blogging.
So I’ve decided to take a little blogcation while I experience lots of stuff to tell you about. I’ll still be updating Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook (probably more than usual), but I won’t be writing any new posts.
I plan on returning rested and energetic, full of tales of Guinness and sheep.
See you in a few weeks!
